Land Clearing and Grubbing
Land Clearing and Grubbing in Waco
An overgrown or wooded parcel has to be opened before any grading or foundation work can begin. Cinemadumeep clears trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grubs the stumps and roots out below the surface so nothing rots or heaves under a future pad. Cleared material is mulched on site or hauled off in dump trucks, and the job is priced by the acre so the number tracks the actual tree cover.
Why Grubbing Matters, Not Just Clearing
Cutting the trees down is only half the job. Left in the ground, stumps and root balls decay and leave voids that settle under a slab or driveway. Grubbing pulls those roots below grade so the fill compacts evenly. It is the step that protects everything built on the lot afterward on acreage out near China Spring.
Our Process
We run an 811 locate first, then clear with dozers and excavators, working from the parcel edges in. Stumps are grubbed and the holes backfilled and compacted in lifts. Brush is mulched or loaded out, and we set silt fence to keep sediment on site under the stormwater rules. Light brush runs near $1,400 per acre and heavy timber more, all quoted after we see the density.
