9. Bringing Out The Dead (1999)
10. City Hall (1996)

Paul Schrader's career in both Writing and Directing Films is pretty unique. He often stays true to his themes and ideas, even when the Films dip into other genres. He walks a dark path, and often the leading men who populate his Pictures are very flawed characters, sometimes desperately searching for some form of redemption. We can't help but identify with them to varying degrees.

Hopefully this Great Filmmaker, who has worked within the mainstream and on the outside, will get more opportunities to have his incomparable point of view come across in future projects.

This really makes me want to get deeper into Schrader's filmography -- especially to see The Comfort of Strangers, which I'd never heard of before.

I seriously appreciate Klimt references and the casting of Christopher Walken.

PGG-- I bet you'll really like it. It's a very offbeat film. Good times!
