No Kiddering Around!

Wednesday belonged to Margot Kidder.

Hello!

 Rocking the pony tail

Oh, Lois!

Margot Kidder as Clark Kent?

I never liked The Blues Brothers as much as I do right now.

My favorite Kidder roles:

Lois Lane, Superman (1978) Superman II (1981) Superman III (1983) Superman IV (1987)
Barb, Black Christmas (1974)
Danielle/Dominique, Sisters (1974)
Jeanette, Willie & Phil (1980)
Kathy Lutz, The Amityville Horror (1979)
Rita, Heartaches (1981)
Miranda, 92 in the Shade (1975)
Mickey, Keeping Track (1986)
Margo, Little Treasure (1985)
Marcia, The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud (1975)

I loved her outfit in Superman IV where she rocked a tie. Very hot. It's hard to imagine another Lois Lane being as great as she was.

She was pretty friggin' hot....
What ever happened to her?

If only I had some sort of, say, digital research tool that I could use to look her up. Hmmm....

Yeah, she is the definitive Lois Lane. So good in those films - a perfect foil to Chris Reeve.

Always thought she looked her hottest in that scene that she is excercising in leg warmers in front of a mirror on The Amytiville Horror.

Just finished reading a great book, Secret Lives of Great Filmmakers, where I learned that Brian De Palma and Kidder hot quite the hot and heavy relationship in the '70s, even hooking up (quite loudly, apparently) in movie trailers on set and in closets at Hollywood parties...

Love your call outs to LITTLE TREASURE & REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD! I dig both those films! Great list!

I'm so glad Kidder is getting the love by all of you...

FilmFather-- I have to check out that book now. Thanks!

I just saw her in a Canadian TV version of "Pygmalion" with Peter O'Toole. It was on some family-oriented network on New Year's Day. She was surprisingly good.

I'll have to check that out. Thanks Stacia!
